Saturday was Elvin Martin and Anita Musser's wedding. Elvin is Austin's boss and Anita was our teacher in school for two years. Austin was a groomsmen and Katie served at the reception. Sorry we don't have pictures of the actual ceremony, and these aren't the best quality but at least you can see a little!!! =)

A Successful Hunt!!!!

THE STORY:

I got up at 4 am Thursday morning to go hunting. The air was brisk as I stepped into my truck and zoomed off to the State Game Lands. Then, I proceeded to go to my tree that I had picked out earlier. I got up in my tree stand and waited for a deer. Nothing came along, so I tried doing some calling. At this point it was about 8:30, and I started to get out of my tree stand to go home, when I saw a medium-sized doe on the hill. I got my bow and waited for an open shot. The doe started walking into the open and looked my way. I placed my pin on the deer and released the arrow. The arrow hit its mark and it dropped in its tracks, which meant no tracking. =) To my surprise, it turned out to be the deer I had missed a few days earlier!!
